Lassa Fever hits a female undergraduate of FUNAAB and 18 others in Ondo State

Ogun State Commisioner of health, Babatunde Ipaye, said the Federal Government has placed a 24-year old student of Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta, FUNAAb and 18 others under contact watch of lassa fever in its State.

    He made this known while speaking to newsmen at his office in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta. He added that the student had prior contact with the index case of Lagos, recorded in Ahmadiyyah Hospital in Ojokoro area of the state.
Apart from the student, the other are workers of the Ahmadiyya hospital but live in Ogun State.
